NQ Community Centre is a Scottish Registered Charity (no SC016469) run by a management committee of local volunteers. We receive funding from Fife Council and run fund-raising events in order to employ a caretaker and maintain and improve the building for the benefit of the whole community. We also have three volunteer caretakers who have studio space in the centre in return for care-taking duties.
The Community Centre was built from donated portacabins in 1991. A team of local builders, joiners, electricians and plumbers worked voluntarily to create a building for everyone in the community to use for classes, meetings and celebrations.
